Our client has pivoted its business focus from Marketing beer products using a smart bottle opener in bars and restaurants that revolutionized the market to a successful Loyalty Platform helping big brands to connect with their consumers.

By using receipt scanning and leveraging staff engagement, the platform is launched currently in the market, onboarding users to a multi-brand loyalty business in a win-win system.  

Ideal candidate profile

We are looking for a passionate Product Owner motivated to initiate user stories proposals based on users analytics, generated surveys, A/B tests, research, collecting stakeholders feedback and close communication with the team to prioritize the features with the goal to scale the product development for ROI. 

You will work closely with clients (big brands), users and with a compact team of highly skilled engineers and company leaders in an international working environment, using agile methodologies for a long-term product roadmap, that you will manage.

Responsibilities
  • act as a liaison between the development team, customers (B2B with big brands), users (B2C), and stakeholders to centralize their feedback for the product features and propose the development plan to be validated and implemented accordingly
  • conduct discovery sessions, user interviews, surveys (A/B testing, etc.), gather business requirements, collect users feedback and translate the requirements into functional and non-functional specifications 
  • define step-by-step user stories to be clearly understandable by the development team and make sure you refine them until they are crystal clear
  • adjust the features and priority as needed after each sprint/iteration
  • accept or reject developed features
  • supervise users analytics and get conclusions translated into features for improvement
  • analyze the market trends/competition and propose relevant features
  • own the product roadmap
  • solve product-related problems, make decisions, complete trade-off analysis to stay on track towards business deliverable commitments
  • draft key objectives and results, strategies and apply the data for the product to make business decisions
  • possess a fundamental understanding of end-to-end customer experience integration and dependencies
  • act as an ambassador for the product internally and externally and as the primary contact for queries related to the product
  • a servant-leader for the team, team player with a focus on product progress and being able to push back the team diplomatically, when needed, to serve better the product scope

 

Your ideal qualifications:
  • Bachelor degree in Business Management/Business Administration and/or related studies (Computer Science degree could be an asset, but not mandatory)
  • 5+ years working within software development agile teams
  • 2-3 years Business Analysis and/or Product Owner, Product Manager previews experience with B2B2C or B2B and B2C
