Uptime.com, a leading website monitoring company, is seeking a highly motivated Technical Support Specialist to join our team. If you are self-disciplined and looking to work full-time remotely in the EU, this is the position for you.

As a Technical Support Specialist, you will be responsible for responding to incoming support requests and providing outgoing customer outreach. To excel in this role, you must possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and have prior experience in a comparable technical support position.

We will give priority to candidates with industry experience who can demonstrate their professionalism and knowledge in the field.

  • Timezone/Shift required: Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm CET. We are hiring candidates within the EU who can work during these hours.

Responsibilities:

  • Providing technical support to clients via email, live chat, or phone
  • Conducting client success outreach and product demo calls
  • Collaborating with the Sales Team on Technical calls for potential clients
  • Assisting with QA of internal development for end users
  • Managing internal support and operational tasks
  • Reviewing and editing content for the marketing site and user-facing support documentation

Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
  • Native or Advanced English speaker and writer
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Tech-savvy
  • Autodidact (self-learner)
  • Strives for technical correctness
  • Ability to work well with remote teams
  • Proficient at resolving problems remotely
  • Self-starter, self-motivated
  • Must be able to multi-task and troubleshoot quickly in a fast-paced environment

  • Understanding of website protocols
