Job Description
The project is the development of a disruptive real estate platform.
As a full-stack software developer, you will:
● Be responsible for improving commercial real estate sponsors’s ability to manage and
communicate with their investors
● Build new user experiences, along with the backend APIs and services necessary to
support them
● Help us scale our investor platform by investigating performance issues, and identifying
and implementing fixes at the layer of the stack that will have the most impact
● Participate in code reviews with engineers of all levels to share ideas and improve our
code quality and system resilience
Qualifications:
● Have experience with technologies and frameworks similar to those in use at IMS: Ruby
on Rails, TypeScript, JavaScript, React, AngularJS or GraphQL
● Experience with this exact tech stack is not required. We think you will succeed if you
have transferable technical experience and are excited to learn these technologies
● Can build new features by combining different services and technologies, even if you’ve
never worked with some of them before
● Enjoy collaborating with colleagues with different expertise, including cross-functional
stakeholders in an agile manner
● Understand the value of well-tested code
