We are currently seeking a talented Sr. Backend Developer (Node) to join our dynamic and distributed team. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for owning and driving the development of our products from top to bottom. You will be involved in our product discovery and delivery cycles, and play an instrumental role in building a system that delights our users.
Here are some of the key responsibilities you will have:
– Develop new features, APIs, improvements, and fixes to handle our current and future scale
– Build a system that delights our users
– Maintain high engineering and security standards, and continuously improve our codebases and processes
– Collaborate with engineers and non-engineers across the company to develop and iterate at scale
To be successful in this role, you should have:
– 4+ years of experience in a Backend/Fullstack role
– A passion for Backend development
– Excellent Javascript knowledge
– Commercial experience with Node.js
– A desire to deliver high-quality, high-performance code that gets deployed within a couple of days
– An energetic and startup culture fit
– Good conversational English (B2-C1)
Bonus points if you have:
– Experience with AWS and serverless/Lambda
– Commercial experience with integration to 3rd party services, preferably eCommerce related like Stripe, Xero, Quickbooks, Bitcoin exchanges, etc
– Experience working in a distributed team(s) environment
– Experience solving problems connected with subscription management, teams access management, and access auditing in SaaS products
– Owned a 24/7 SaaS product, running on a major vendor cloud
