About the Company: the company operates two SaaS products in the MarTech industry. The team and company are growing and with that growth, we have a new need for a Product Manager on the team. This is an exciting opportunity to put your stamp on this newly created role and create processes and implement strategies that help make our team more efficient and effective, and blast off our growth! This is also an opportunity to mentor other team members and showcase your skills and expertise.

This is a remote role, but bonus to those who can work out of our Oradea office or occasionally travel to our offices from other locations. That said, we’re looking for the best, so if you aren’t in proximity, we still want you to apply.

TL;DR: We need someone to be the intermediary between our Technology Team and the Business side, understanding, aligning, and driving company goals through strong communication and understanding of the product and customer needs. We are a little light on our current processes and looking for this role to create structure and drive cultural change, resulting in improved output and results cross-functionally.

Job Duties

Note: This role works in conjunction with a Junior Product Manager who will also be assisting with these tasks

  • Become an expert in the use-cases and strategic potential of our APIs and drive clients and partners to fulfill that potential
  • Facilitate every aspect of the go-to-market strategy from documentation to education to implementation
  • Be customer-focused and obsessed with solving problems and looking for opportunities to improve user experience and grow our customer base
  • Understand the competitive landscape and what is needed to stay a leader in our space
  • Collaborate regularly with leaders across the business to ensure that product vision aligns with business needs and requirements
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to understand new feature needs taking a customer, market, and data-driven approach, and bring those features to life
  • Working with business partners to write designs for features through understanding other teams’ needs and ensuring that prioritization of projects aligns with high-level strategies and business objectives
  • Be outcome-focused and keen to measure the impact of everything you have prioritized and released
  • Maintain high levels of engagement with stakeholders through various forms of written and verbal communication, including project plans, status reports, and executive presentations
  • Be creative. Have ideas and opinions. Don’t be afraid to try, fail and try again
  • Plan and deliver the medium-term roadmap
  • Prioritize. Have a systematic method for prioritization that considers the immediate needs and long-term vision of the company
  • Translate long-term goals into a product development plan of incremental progression
  • Implement agile rituals and development processes
  • Manage the backlog, prioritize what tasks need to be worked on next, ensure engineers are fully utilized and that priorities and deadlines are met

Skills and Experience

  • 5+ years of Product Management experience
  • 2+ years of experience as a Product Manager in a remote environment
  • Aptitude for applying structure to ambiguity and driving toward measurable outcomes and results
  • Analytical and strategic. Proven track record of using data to validate assumptions. You are open and curious to learn from outcomes
  • Confident with delivering technology products/services in a high-growth environment where priorities shift fast
  • Strong history of defining strategy, executing against a plan, anticipating risk, and leading discussion via frequent, clear communication, both internally and externally
  • Proven track record of increasing revenue of products you manage
  • Experience with Agile Product Development methodologies
  • Oriented towards solving problems through listening, clarifying, asking questions, and negotiating trade-offs. You are comfortable making the final decision and thrive when you drive teams toward common goals
  • Experience creating roadmaps and communicating them to executives
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication. You are comfortable working with high-level decision-makers in addition to individual contributors
  • Experience in SaaS is a plus
